Influences of Style

In indie folk music videos, the artist/band generally wears one of two styles. They either go with a casual t-shirt and jeans, which is often seen more in the narrative heavy music videos, or a smart casual look, wearing either a suit, or a jacket and jeans, which is more common in the performance based music videos. The clothing is often light colours, especially in the narrative focused videos when the lighting is dark. These outfits help represent the common 'everyday' look, that helps to reflect the mood of the music videos.
